The Town Clerk's Office is on Mason Street in Morrisonville. The Town Clerk maintains Town Board records and publishes notices of public hearings. The Town Clerk is an elected office with a four-year term.
The Town Clerk provides the following services:

Dog Licenses
All dogs in New York State require a license. Proof of a rabies vaccination & Spayed/Neutered from a veterinarian is required. The rabies certificate must contain the date the shot was given and the expiration. For dogs that are unable to receive a rabies shot, a Certificate of Exemption from Rabies Vaccination MUST be completed by the attending veterinarian and the dog owner. Certificates are available from the Town Clerk's office.
All dogs over the age of four (4) months must be licensed. Dog licenses must be renewed every year and the fees are as follows:
Spayed / Neutered dogs $ 10.00
Unspayed / Unneutered dogs $20.00
Replacement ID tags $ 3.00

Notary Public
The Town Clerk & Secretary to the Town Supervisor are Notary Public. We are available during regular business hours. Proper identification (driver's license or non-driver's ID) must be submitted and the person signing must be present. This service is free.
Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Law provides that all records be accessible to the public except for those records that fall within specific exemptions. Records can be obtained from the Town by submitting the request in writing either by mail or by stopping by the Town Clerk's Office. A fee of $.25 per page is charged.
